 | Yuet's easy way to get "S Blank Neptune LTE2" for V360 with 08.A0/08.D0 bootloader |
I am only sure it will work for V360 with 08.A0 bootloader. I don't have phones to test other bootloaders such as 08.D0 or 09.02, and I am not sure if it works for L7, so don't come and flame me if it doesn't work on your phone model. Please take responsibility for your own decision.
What you need:
1. Yuet's BlankNepTuneLTE2 flash file for 08.A0 & 08.D0 bootloader
2. RSD Lite
Before you start:
1. Fully charge your battery please. You need its power.
2. IMPORTANT: Flash your phone to YuetMod MP v3.2 for V360 or L7.
Steps:
1. Download my flash file at bottom of this post;
2. Open RSD Lite, switch your phone to bootloader mode and connect it to computer via USB;
3. Open the flash file with the RSD Lite and click 'Start' button;
4. Wait for the flashing process to complete, then the phone will try to restart but it won't turn on as expected;
5. Unplug & plug the usb cable from the computer; Your phone should be detected as "S blank neptune LTE2" by RSD Lite; Pretty simple, isn't it?
6. Do part 2 or part 3 of this guide, depends on whether you want to remove sticky firmwares or unlock your phone.
(if this method doesn't work for you, try another method.)

I believe this file works with 09.02, but I am not sure whether p2k easy tool can work with 09,02 or not.

hey arkangel.. i think everybody knows that you and your mates discovered this method.. nobody is putting is question that.. even I, when i did the translation from forov360, did put the credits for you guys.. But let's face it, you coudnt get a flash file that would let the phone be detected as blank neptune 'so easily'..
Dont take it personal and dont get angry like that mate.. Anyways.. the goal is for everybody who want their v360 to be unlocked.. and that's why you, yuet and other people post all this.. (in a couple o months will be a program that will do all this and nobody will remember who started since this phone is being left behind for new phones)

Crap. I keep getting the critical error 84 message whenever I try to flash any file other than the Yuet MP 4.0 AER file. So that means I can't flash back to stock firmware or this blank neptune firmware no matter what I do. :( I can't repair the PDS either because easy tool tells me I've got to make a test point connection. :( :( Is there anything left I can do to fix this issue? Thanks for the help.

However, the steps & file in this post are from me. I created the file and tested the steps. I agree you are the first to provide such flash file, but I were also exploring this method from 8 Feb, if you read my post about repair s blank neptune lte2.

Yeah ... half of this tutorial works, the other half doesn't at least not for me. I can get the phone into S Blank, but when I try to unlock it with Easy tool the app becomes non-responsive and I can't get it to work unless I remove the usb cable.
neo_dark, please try 2 things:
1. try to close RSD lite just after the flashing and when your phone is still showing "SW upgrade in progress".
2. try to flash to YuetMod v2.2 first, the repeat the steps. Maybe you want to use RSD Lite 2.5 also, as what I tested.
giany911, if the unlock procedure doesn't work, try the "repair pds" one. follow exactly, don't skip small steps like unplug/plug usb, remove/put back battery.

so I wanna tell how success my unlock...
first i have a sticky firmware (yuet 4.0)
1. i flash yuet 2.2.1 firm. with rsdlite 3.3 (telephone doesn't started)
2. flash yuet's blank neptun firm.
with rsd- stop at cheksum check (dont wait finish!)
3. reconnect telephone and will connect blank neptune lte2
4. repair pds, and unlock with
p2k easy tool 3.9
5. rsdlite 3.3 give error if you want flashing blank neptune
6. i flash random's flashbackup
with yuet 2.2.1 but unselect code group 1 !!! because the phone give to you critical error 84 (or something like that! :) )
7. finish. (i hope so :D ) (just in case i write again with rsdlite 3.3 with yuet 2.2.1... successful!)

So here is my short story: I've flashed with Yuet's new unlock method, which was successful. Then the phone just restarted OK, with Yuet's MP 3.1. I've also removed the battery and then restarted the phone, but same thing happened. Then I've decided to put the Solo flash from the forov360 guys (for my BL, 08.A0; flashed ok and then the phone didn't rebooted. It was completely all black. I've removed the battery, put it back in and voila, it was a S Blank Neptune LTE2. Although I thought the problem would be solved easily, it was not so. I've tried to do unlock with P2K Easy Tool v3.9 and v4.1 but without a luck. Also, I've tried to do a PDS repair. The problem was that it always hanged on "Sending Loader", just after the prompt which informs you to remove the TP (clicked OK there, to go on). It also begun to be more complicated as I cannot start in BootLoader any more (# * and PWR at the same time and insert the battery). Of course, RSD lite didn't work to flash something else, even if it sees the phone, with or without battery as Blank Neptune. For the moment I thought that I was the one with a bricked v360, as the Easy Tool can't do even a PDS repair. Then, the savior was FB3, whit which I restored some CG successfully from a MP and then I was able to put the phone in BL mode. After that RSD has done it's job and now I have Yuet's MP v2.2.1. I think that maybe the problem was the computer (an old one, with win2k, some usb problems probably). So, maybe I was helpful for someone which gets into trouble. I will continue the tests next week, when I could gain access to another computer.
To Yuet: What FW version do you have before flashing to your unlocking flash? It's necessarily to have B7R? Any idea why P2K ET hangs there, at very beginning? No progress bar was shown, it just freezes at "Sending loader..."

giany911 & sarah's angel, try to do unluck immediately after repair PDS. In my opinion, repair PDS can actually unlock your phone at the same time. That is, after repair PDS, there's no need to unlock anymore. However, I have not verified it.
joseph, what did u do? can u give more details? It seems to me "phone won't turn on" is expected.
Lord_dizzy, my phone was running YuetMod v2.2. If P2K ET hangs, you can always stop it, restart P2K ET, unplug/plug usb cable and remove/put back battery. wait a few seconds for the computer to detect the phone, then repeat the steps with P2K ET.
Like after it finished flashing, took the baterry off for 15 secs, then plug in the cable and nothing happened. So i deceded to unplug and then put in the baterry and tried to power up but nothing, tried the *+#+power thingy and nothing its like dead even wen i plug in the charger nothing happens.
Joseph plug in your batter and your usb cable then hold * # and Red Key pressed for like 1 minute it will eventually start in bootloader mode.

joseph, you can flash using P2K ET even your phone is in black screen after pds repair. Please just follow my guide. don't skip/add steps. :-)
Ok Huston we have a problem. I did repair the PDS and unlocked ( it said ok to both ) I flashed my backup it keeps restarting after the boot image ( the Motorola one ) I flashed Yuet 1.7 same thing, I flashed a stock ABR same thing once again. So ... ? I will try to repair the PDS once more.
DONE I've unlocked my phone finally. Thanks Yuet for this beautiful find!
I had some problems, the phone wouldn't start even in bootloader mode but following the guide I took out the battery a couple of times I flashed a whole lot of firms and now it works although my backup doesn't exactly work :).

giany911, Congras! is your phone 08.A0 or 09.02? Can you write a summary how you unlock it, what problem you encounter and how you fix the problems?
08.A0 is my bootloader. I repaired the PDS as you said then unlocked, I got OK for both but after flashing my backup the phone kept restarting after the bootloader image ( the Motorola one ). I tried flashing 1.8 Yuet same thing, tried a stock ABR, same thing. After some MP the phone wouldn't even start in bootloader mode! It was all black and nothing else. I took out the battery pluged in the USB cable and I got that malfunction thingy in the tray. I uninstalled the unknown device from Device manager, pluged in the USB cable once again without the battery, then fast ( before it got to say that error message ) I put the battery back in. I did this a couple of times before it worked. Finally I got the phone recognized as Blank flashed the 08.A0-08.D0.shx from your post and flashed your 1.8 MP. I didn't use RSD but Easy Tools to flash! I saw that it worked. So your your phone is not turning on don't freek out you can get it working again! Just try the battery thing over and over! And BTW before you start doing this FULLY CHARGE YOUR BATTERY.
i have readed all this blog about unlock without testpoint but i'm still affraid of kill my phone. My question is the flashfile updated by yuet works better than that was before???

hey sebasimp, well.. if you have flashbackup. and you open yuet's flash file.. you will see it only affects CG2 and CG7..and the previous flash modify CG!,CG3,CG7,CG18 (i think).. and that's why after flashing it with yuet's.. you get the 's blank neptune' in an easier way..
You can always make a backup of your phone and recover it from there..(make sure you install all the drivers)
But i suggest you to wait till a more reliable way come up.. (im sure it will) and only do it if you really need to.. (I'd rather you to do it if you have experience modding your phone)..

TEN steps to unlock your v360 PHONE (and maybe others) -- "Lord Dizzy's Easy Method"
1. Make sure you have Yuet v2.2.1 MP in your mobile / Drivers for your OS already installed;
2. Open P2K Easy Tool, chose "your phone" as your phone model then click on "Flash SHX" checkmark;
3. Select and Flash the "R4513_G_08.B7.DAR_RB_Lang0031_reflash_MOTOX.shx" file (Do Selected Jobs)
4. Now the phone is in "S Blank Neptune LTE2" mode.
5. Go to "Repair TAB" and check Full repair PDS zone and "Do Selected Jobs"
6. For the moment, I don't know if that is just enough to unlock your phone. So, just to be sure:
6.1. Go to "Locks TAB", check "Unlock SP" and then "Do Selected Jobs"
6.2. Now do again the STEP 5, or else your phone will start for a short time with MOTO logo and then shut itself off.
7. Open Flash Backup, select correctly the "Active phone profile" for your phone, and go to "Write data TAB"
8. "Select flash file", and open Yuet v2.2.1
9. Unselect CG1, CG2, CG15 and click "Write data". This only takes few seconds to write back!
10. Your phone is NOW fully unlocked and fully functional with Yuet's MP v2.2.1
Notes (tips & tricks):
1. FULLY CHARGE your BATTERY first. My battery was still full after doing this, but it's better to be sure...
2. Once in "S Blank Neptune LTE2", the phone can be unlocked/rapair PDS without the battery. Its self USB powered!
3. When connecting your phone, always have RSD Lite running and then close it. It will give an "HAB 0x84" error, but
that will switch the BL from 0000 to 0300. It is important to be 0300 for P2K Easy Tool to work correctly.
4. After each operation with P2K Easy Tool, you will need to restart the program and reconnect the USB cable, as the
P2K Easy Tool shuts off the phone, and you'll need it to be redetected by RSD Lite as "S Blank Neptune LTE2" BL 0300
5. At STEP 7 you don't need to have RSD Lite running; Flash Backup is smart enough...
6. You may reflash with other Language Packages, but I have not tested.
7. Programs needed: P2K Easy Tool v3.9; Flash Backup v3.0.2; "R4513_G_08.B7.DAR_RB_Lang0031_reflash_MOTOX.shx" file
8. All programs measures ~3.25MB, and if you know what to do this method unlocks your phone in 5 minutes, as there
is no large file sent to the mobile.
9. At least, this file contains CG4 and CG7. I think that CG7 is ALL responsible for this, as I see same CG7 in
Yuet's unlocking method.

that flash file is only modifying the lang pack and digital sign right? how did you come up with that idea. everybody else was thinking playing around with the firmware or flex..

When I flash my phone with any of the blank flashes, my phone gets recognised as "S Neptune LTE2" (no blank).
So when I try to unlock or repair, I get the message in P2K Easy Tool "You must use Testpoint to unlock".
My v360 is BL08.D0 and YuetMod 2.2
you have to make it s blank neptune LTE2 before proceed to unlock/repair pds.

ok, so i'm back with another proposal... here goes... the unlock method by flashing to S Blank Neptune LTE2 works only for bootloaders 08.A0 and 08.D0 but not for 09.02... how can we let those poor souls suffer? ;)) i've seen a lot of programs that have an option called "change bootloader" don't know if it really works, but if someone could make it work, i think i may have found a solution. let's say you have 09.02 bootloader, you change it to 08.A0 or 08.D0 unlock your phone, and change it back to 09.02 :) problem solved :D
I don't think we can touch the bootloader when we can't even get the S blank Neptune LTE2.
I really want to do this method but i cant flash anything to my phone because nothing can be sent to the bootloader so i cant flahs MP 3.2 or the flash file all i can see is MEM_MAP Blank service Req'd, any Ideas?
zoryk, your phone is in bootloader screen, right? use p2k easy tool to flash a MP should make it alive again. Don't use rsdlite. You might not need to repair pds at all. read this post to see how to flash using p2k easy tool. BTW, what's ur phone? bootloader & firmware version?

It seems it's impossible to get a "s blank neptune" mode out of a L7 with 08.D0 bootloader without testpointing...
I have a SLVR L7 with original firmware as follows : R4513_G_08.B7.DCR_RB. It is locked to the Orange France network. I want to unlock it but I tried all the flash files you and the forov360 guys propose, unsuccessfully : each time I use RSDLite v3.2 to flash those shx files, the process ends up with a checksum error and a "critical error 84" or "critical error 80 40" on my phone. With p2k ET I can flash these same shx files without any checksum error, but after that the phone is still an "Flash Neptune"...
I cannot downgrade to bootloader 08.A0 either, because I would need a "s blank neptune" mode first...
So I think I'm going to tp it, unless you have a fresh hint...

Yesterday I eventually unlocked my phone by testpointing it. When I checked "unlock SP" in p2k Easy Tool, it dit not succeed : it was stalled on the "unlocking..." step, and the app no longer responded. I had to kill p2ket.
The good news is that, as some people guessed, a "full PDS repair", with the same software, was successful, and it was enough to unlock the phone (in fact I did it twice, but maybe the first time as already enough).
So it's unlocked now !!

P.S. For the mechanical part of the testpoint, I am reeally impressed at reading in some place on the internet that some people use a razor blade to cut off the metal shield that protects the testpoint pin (!) It's quite hard a metal, personally I used a knife and some strong and small pliers to do the job. Congratulations to my DIY mates all over the planet ! :-)

Hi, Yuet, thank you for an excellent series of posts about unblocking.
I would like to add some info regarding L7, it may be useful to others.
My original firmware is R4513_G_08.B7.DCR_RB, the same as JB used. I tried various combination and finally succeded.
I succesfully reached S Blank state by first patching the phone with YuetMod 3.2, and after that flashing with the fix by forov360 guys.
It ends up giving error 84, after that I detached USB cable, took out battery and after a couple of seconds attached the phone to computer.
It immediately was recognized as S Blank. The last step is to put battery in and make full PDS repair from P2k Easy tool (Unlock SP is not working for L7).
And that's basically all. To summarize the main points:
1. Flash with YuetMod
2. Flash with forov360
3. After Error 84 remove cable and battery, wait 15 secs, attach, get S Blank, put battery back in
4. Make full PDS repair
5. Flash with whatever monsterpack you like.
Hope it helps someone who, like me, spent a whole day trying to unlock with no results )

Gun2GS, I am not sure how well p2k easy tool will work with your phone, so do it at your own risk. You can try to repair pds, then flash to a MP.
SLIM, v3.2 will brick it, but doesn't matter, as you can still turn to bootloader mode to flash the blankNeptuneLTE2 file. If you get s blank neptune LTE2, you succeed. Let me know your result if you try it.

But i Flashed the file from the forov360 guys and i was able to get "S Blank Neptune LTE2".
I also got the phone detected but i could no repair the PDS as P2k Easy Tool v3.9 said "Please make a testpoint for this model" and i had no other choice then to flash E0R again.
I downloaded GOT_MOTO but i am unable to find an account.

I have been able to successfully remove the E0R firmware, no GOT_MOTO, P2K ET did it.
Just tried 2-3 times and that was all.
But your flash file to get "S Blank Neptune LTE2" didnt work on my L7.
But i Flashed the file from the forov360 guys and i was able to get "S Blank Neptune LTE2".
So it is confirmed that L7 with 08.D0 loader have to be flashed with file given by forov360 guys and the process works fine.
Now you can assure that your theory works 100% on L7 also.
And should i give you the link on where to get GOT_MOTO?

Hi, Yuet! I run the other day into a problem... I tried to flash a mp on my phone (V360 with BL 08.A0), and it gave me Critical Error 84. That wouldn't be a problem; I unlocked my phone several times before using your method (btw, good job!) with succes. But this time, my PC it didn't recognized as Blank Neptune, and I got only Unknown Device in Device Manager and "This Usb device has malfunctioned... bla bla bla".
The problem is that I can't get the phone seen by RSD or P2K Easy tool... I tried everything, even on another computer, but no luck!:(
Any ideas? I saw many have encountered this problem... if anyone has an answer, please help!!! I refuse to believe that I can't do anything to revive it!
Have you tried to take out the battery and hold down *+# while inserting it back? It should start in flash mode.
coccolino_dbro, as what elyenm suggested, take out battery, press & hold * and # keys, then put back battery, to see if you can get bootloader mode.
Thanks for replying so fast... But I did tried putting the battery in while holding * and # pressed, also * + # + power... no succes:(
I also tried connecting without battery and then, fast, before the message in system tray appeared, I put the battery back in (as someone said in another post)... I tried many many times... The battery is full, I charged it in another phone.
I'm sure I did anything I knew (and I can say I'm not a beginner modder), and I'm running out of ideas...
I even tried to use P2K Easy Tool, even in this condition, but it gives me "Error connectng" (quite normal, if it can't see the Blank Neptune, isnt'it?)
from my experience, when the phone is not detected at all, you have to get into bootloader mode.
try:
1. connect to pc via usb, press & hold * + # + Power for a long time.
2. disconnect to pc via usb, press & hold * + # + Power for a long time.
3. connect to pc via usb, take out battery, press & hold * + #, then put back battery.
4. disconnect to pc via usb, take out battery, press & hold * + #, then put back battery.
Just in case you haven't tried these. I know u r not beginner. :-)
If nothing works, I think you have to do the testpoint procedure.

OK... I've been away for a while...
Regarding the problem I had, I had to do a testpoint, since I didn't find another way to revive my phone. All went smooth and fast, except cutting through the shield...it took a while (I did it with a small and sharp cutter)...
But I want to say once more... people, don't panic!! v360 can't be killed (at least software)! You can call it Highlander!:)

Please follow the steps in solution of scenario #5 in my "how to revive phone" summary. Pay attention to step 3 where you need to testpoint your phone 2nd time.

I followed the steps, I put MP 3.2 on went fine. Using RSD Lite v3.2, then flashed "s blank neptune lte2" I came back and an SDL box was on the screen says "Phone failed initial security verification checks. HAB error 0x27." and now the phone is dead, no bootloader mode, no power.
Did the Full repair PDS in Easy Tool first time failed, then took battery out and it worked. Please Help. Thanks Ryan
dissregard my last comment. Phone comes on I think It is unlocked, I use to have T-Mobile and trying to goto Nextel. The sim is read and nextel pnone number but it says I have No Service. What is this all about.
try to change the network setting (select your band instead of automatic.) and try to search for network.
hey yuet im trying to unlock mi L7 08.D0 but when i flash it with the foroV360 guys flash RSD lite recognize it in S FLASH neptune so i started to do it again but with your S blank neptune flash but the same thing happend. you have any ideas??
BTW if i flash my phone with the foroV360 flash and then reflash with yours blank neptune flash, what its going to result?? brick?? =S

yuet i used that method but no luck..the phone L7 still in S FLASH neptune. i try all the methods and same thing. any ideas?>

Can Some one tell me what should i do when it show unknow device after taking out battery in "S Blank Neptune Converstion". When i insert battery it still says Unknow device and RSD Lite dont show any think up.
Please help me

Actually i m trying to get rid of An Sticky Drago EOR on My L7.
And in flashing up Unlocking it goes dead as they said. But after removing and inserting battery it shows up unknow device in Windows XP.
And I get unable to connect phone in P2K easy 3.9

Hello Yuet, i've try your tuto and forov360's tuto, but unfortunatly i've always been blocked after flashing with your flash MP, after the critial error 84, i've remove the battery and wait a few seconds, but i have always "unknow device" on my windows XP.
I tried with and without the battery, no way...
Do you have any advice please ?

Here is the PDS creator for free. I tried it in my dead phone and it works 100%.
If your phone cant be detected in the computer, follow the Test Short procedure as shown in the diagram on the other thread of this forum.
Bootload your phone (press *, #, power on button. Or remove battery and put it back again so that the phone will be detected in the computer). Restore Full Backup from other phones then follow these steps:
1 download "C6RK.zip" search on google
2 run ramldr. Send ldr.bin from c6rk.zip as "send ramldr"
3 click erase button
4 change base addr 10000000 and send C650_Rep_Img as send binary
5 click restart and hold * + # phone must restart
6 change base addr 03FD0000, send ldr.bin as send ramldr
7 type comand RPDS in the cmd textbox then click send (debug window should apear like "RPDS OK")
8 Restart. PDS area should be repaired.
9 Power on the phone. Ignore blank screen. Any key press should have a sound.
10 Flash your phone with any available monsterpack (I used c650)

Thanks for taking your time to help out so many people. I tried to unlick my Cingular SLVR BL: 0A.20 SW: R4517 with the YuetMod_v3.2_L7_yuetblog.blogspot.com.shx flash, but now the phone will only go into boot loader screen and not turn on normally, the keypad just flashes. PLUS, the battery has now worn down and won't seem to charge so I can't try a different flash. Any ideas?!

First - sorry for my bad english.
i have an v360v (from vodafone) wich i resoft it with Yuet v1.80_v360_L7 and now it saw like a v360 (without "v" at end). Seems like i could not transform to blank neptune lte2 because it has 09.02 bootloader. With my phone i can connect only on "Vodafone" network. How can i unlock sim protection without Testpoint's solution or without a soft that i'll pay for it (it not worth it, because in this case i'll go to a station that repaire phones to unlock). Yuet is the great master of v360, and i hope that he will find a solution even for 09.02 bootloader, without testpoint.

i really have a problem. some guy said that his phone was "malfunctioned" in windows and said that he removed several times the battery and workd. that doesn`t work for me..till now i think i managed to unlock the phone, and put bag Yuet 2.2. But it was moving very slow..and tried another one. After i put the other one, phone crashed. I have backup but i can`t put it because windows can`t dedect the phone. please help me..i can do TS at a service but now i`m out of money and i need it fast..
