I found out the following key map in 005B-0001 for V360/L7 when making the YuetMod 1.2 MP.

Other functions (key values):
0C = right key
0D = left key
13 = power off only (long press, no power on)
16 = change volume cyclically (0-vibe-1...7-0...)
1b = call New Message menu on dial screen (send to dialed number)
Explanation
Each offset represents the physical key on your phone. The key values represent the actual function of the keys. This key map shows the original moto key map. To remap it, change the key value will do.
For example, the offset of smart key is 17, the key value of the fire key is 3d. Set the value of offset 17 to 3d will remap smart key to the fire key.

Can I actually change the action of my Browser button for openning mini Opera browser?
How can I do it. Congrats for the MP!!
Lucas, there's no menu code for Opera, so you can't set it. However, there's a workaround. You can set the browser key to smart key, so under the personalize->Home key, you can set the smart key to open Opera when you are at home screen.
If you are using my MP, the browser key is already set to smart key, you only need to change the home key setting.
i dnt get wot u mean how would i make my phone so tht the camera key actually uses the camera again plz explain in detail
Assume you know how to edit SEEM. Open SEEM 005B-0001, go to offset 1F and change the value of this offset to 3F. Save the change to your phone and reboot.

use the "seem edit" function in p2ktools or motokit.
I know this maybe a dumb question, but which one is the "fire" key? Is it the one in the middle of the directional keys?
Also, were is the PTT key located (so I can tell if I have it on the unlocked phone I'll be getting)?

tMH, you are right. it is the middle key.
I also not sure where is the PTT key, but I guess it is actually the smart key.

u advise to update the MMA files to put the SHORTCUT item in the 5th position of the menu, but, as far as i know, P2kMenueditor doesnt work on the V360. So how can i update? ididnt find the keymap for shortcuts in your keymap list.

shortcuts is not a key so it is not in the key map.
you need to either Hex edit the mma file or download my mma file.
that was exactly my question, how do i do that? how do i hex edit the mma file for the V360. i mean, i dont have a map for the mma hex editing.

how can i remove the carrier name , and write anything i want there instead,and how can i move the date from under the carrier, and put it in line with the clock, but on the left side of the screen?
acinonyx, to remove carrier name, you have to edit the plmn_text_table.bin file. to change positions of date, you need to edit the skin file. I have no time to write down the detail steps now, but I can write up something later. Come back and check it out.

download all skin files to your pc, then open the ski file using motoskin software. With motoskin, you can adjust the position of the operator/ date/ time.
Amendment to the key map: functions 0C, 0D - left/right. More functions: 13 - power off only (long press, no power on); 16 - change volume cyclically (0-vibe-1...7-0...); 1b - call New Message menu on dial screen (message will be sent to the number dialed). Happy modding!

back key? do you mean the softkey? There is a bug if you set any othey key to the left/right softkey, so it is not recommended.
How can I change left and right soft key back the way they were before I flashed with YuetMod 1.6?
I have edited SEEM 005B-0001, offsets 0E and 0F and actions of these keys changed, but names of actions on the screen are still oposite (i.e. Exit over left key even though it selects item and right key exits).
I guess I will have to edit skin file.

Hi, you have to Hex edit the 0313-0001 seem to change the menu code from Browser to VideoCamera. I will put more explanation in the post later. If not sure, wait for the update.

that's changes the right button on keypad.. what I mean is the one that is situated at the right of the phone.. when u flip close, the button on the right is what I mean

do a simple seem edit. you can find the seem in my seem handbook. Look for "Swap Softkeys function".

I got to unlock the editing of the right soft key (it seems many providers like to lock this key in some mobile phone models), the answer was fond after googling for a good while (the trick is to google with the right words, you get lost in the meantime :P)
How to allow the "Personalize->Main Screen->Keys->Right Sfot key" item, and many other stuff which seems to work for V360 and L7 phones, can be found at

it is an easy editing of the menu files (mma_ucp and mma_udp, as Yuet pointed out)
Its very nice to customize the mobile thanks to pages like this one (thanks yuet!) and the one above
I have just one more little question... which are the original values of seem 0032_001 offsets 000e and 000f, i edited them accidentally (apparently without impact in the L7) and becouse that was not my intention i didn't backup that seem... (silly mistake which could turn fatal!) Be carefull when seem editing and before touching anything i recommend a full back up stored in a safe place far away from any kind of editing :)

Yes, it worked, but, unfortunately there's a "but", now i have 2 smart key's, wich are doing the same thing, can i make only the small key my smart key and the other one(the one above the green key)...i don't know...."contacts", or at least something else

Can i ask u something, this "SEEM 005B-0001", it's only for key maping cause if it is i was thinking to put my original backup in the phone and make a screen shot of those numbers there...and after i put the MP i like, i can make the numbers, all the same, shouldn't this work, i mean in teory at least, it's doable right?

then you can change another offset 1E to value 42. The whole key map is in the post for you. why not try to read it and understand it? then you can do whatever you want with the keys.

Hey i can edit existing v360 skins for the wallpaper and also transparency options in skiman but any themes/skins that say there compatible on the net do not work, all i have done is download p2ktools and skiman and used to use MPTools just for audio transfer etc. How do I get skins to work especially like transformers skin which says to put /a/mobile/skin but my skins are in /c/mobile/skins

Anonymous try to restart your phone after you install a new skin, and make sure you have more than 1.2 Mb of free memory on your phone memory(not memory card) before installing new skins with skiman. good luck
you should always put skins in /c/mobile/skins
