good work.
One question how to I view the pictures as big thumbnails like in your post above. When I first went into the pictures it was like that now it just shows it normal. Is there a setting somewhere for it.
Hi JAWheat411, let me answer your question... This trick is in the skin, so when you change your skin this will be set to the normal size...

I'm Yokekung, Thank you for you reply. I cannot merge file Yuet Mod 1.6 I load part 1 and part 2 from Mofile server. I use winrar to extract 1st and 2nd part. I extract 2 file to overwrite. When I use RSD Lite to flash, it show message 'error validating image' flash failed. Please help us to merge 2 part of rar or upload 1 file please.
Yokekung, put the 2 files in one folder and decompress only the first file using winrar.
It's weird, after I flashed your mod. My provider is displayed as Cingular, instead of T-mobile. It's a minor annoyance, but do you have any idea how to fix it?
Meaby T-Mobile share antennas with Cingular... The flash doesn't block your phone for a company... Mod the skin if you want to desapear it...
i really like v1.6 but the only thing i like to change is the browser button activate the phone manage. i would like to change it to something else. is that possible?
fourqui, that button is set as smartkey, so you can change it to launch other things in "home screen key setting" in "personalise".

How about making the clock near the signal or battery meter? I once had an Alcatel phone ad it showed clock even when I was in a game or wrote an SMS! Maybe you could make a clock on the outer display when the flip is opened :) It would be great :) Tkanks :)
roberto, read [005b_0001 key map] to find out. Basically you change the value of offset 1f of 005b_0001 seem to 43.

Help! Everything is cool with this MP ,but when someone call ,there is no sound! Only the display lights up. And in the "ring style" menu there are "Line 1" and "LIne 2" for what are they? Thanks very much for your great MP. I have been using your MP v1.3 and v1.5 and like it so much. I like the look and feel of v1.5 so much and hope to like it more on v1.6. However I like the key map of v1.3. Is there any easy way to get key map of v1.3 after flash with v1.6? For example, could you please create a file to import with P2K to v360 to get the key map of 1.3...

are you in silent mode? did you change any thing in ringstyle? can you flash you phone again? Some sim card has 2 lines support, so there's line 2. normally we don't use it. to change gain table, you can use the java midlet "filechanger", to apply the file "gain_moto", which is the factory setting.

frioniel, yes, I can upload the file, but only when I have free time. It is easy to do it yourself. Read my posts about "005B-0001" key map & "flip-close operation version 1". you can also read my "Seem edit guide". Basically all the resources are here.

Thanks for this MP. It's awesome, I love it. The only thing though I want to do is restore the functionality of the two smart keys. I can set the one on the left to be the phonebook again but I how can I set the one on the right that used to be for call history? Its set to voice names but I never use that feature and the button on the right side does that already anyway.

Hi Yuet, I have read the article about editing the 005B-0001 carefully again and found that it is not complex to do it myself. I already edit the botton map that match with my usage already. Again, thanks for a great MP. I enjoy my v360 very much.

I loaded v1.6 on a Slvr L7, works fine except when i receive calls or a sms there is no sound or vibration. Any fixes, help please!

I´m from Spain and I was looking for a good MP for my L7. I really liked your MP because it has a real working itunes and all that stuff, it works perfectly and there´s no problem except one. when i want to writte a sms i miss the normal writting mode, you know, the one that you have to push until you reach the letter, for example click 3 times number 2 for reach C letter and 2 times number 8 to reach U letter. I hope you understand me and you can help me.

tyhe, the input mode can be setup by yourself. at the message screen, press Menu button, then select Entry Setup. Select your preferred primary/secondary input methods. TAP english is one of the options.

leton, I guess maybe the L7 & V360 have different key values. I need the origianl L7 005B-0001 SEEM file to check. Can anyone upload this seem file? It is a bit difficult to me as I don't have a L7.

Thank you for your work. It is great.
One thing though - since I installed v1.6 I cannot put names into my phonebook properly: there is a prompt at the bottom of the screen that lets me select only what it suggests. It also seems to be in French which doesn't help entering English words.
Is there anyway to restore original Motorola phonebook prompt behavior?
It must be a silly question but I cannot find an option in the phone or a howto anywhere.

Igor, press Menu button, then select entry setup. setup your favurite primary/secondary input method. I guess you like TAP english, instead of iTap.

maybe reflashing the MP is the simplest thing to do, if you haven't made many changes to your phone.
amarbir, some special treatment is required to convert drm for 08.D0. It can't be explained in a short paragraph. Will explain when I have time....

hai yuet,i flash 1.7 mp but i accidently delete the mma_ucp files in a:\mobile\directory, i dont want to flash the phone again, you have the backup for those mma_ucp files?
moto360, mma for v1.7 is the /a/mobile/system/mma_ucp in your phone, and the v1.5 version is /a/mobie/system/mma_dcp. Backup these files, rename them and put back into /a/mobile.
Yuet, i love the MP, i was wondering if you know how i can use headphones with itunes, i bought the converter form miniusb to 3.5mm headphone jcak but i cant get he music to play out of the head ohones, tanks

the complete solution is not found yet. read this post [using phonemanger] to see a tip, but motorola's bluetooth system is pretty "secure". It can't be fooled with.
Dear Yuet. The "screen shots" you put look pretty excellent. I have a V360v (Which stands for V360 Vodafone). How do I know which boot loader to chose? And secondly, can you put links to some of the best programs for P2K management and for flashing with your MP? Thanks.

ezra, I think you can't install it by downloading from WAP. you have to install it using motomidman.
ezra, get motomidman here. The procedure of install iTunes can just be used to install digital audio player.
just click the "download" button in the center area. no need to enter pickup code.

Mei, you can use any version of YuetMod. I recommend v1.8 or v2.0. both are stable versions. If you need "Airplane Mode", go for v2.0, otherwise v1.8.
Remember to backup before flashing. You can follow this guide.

This is Mei again. Firstly, I want to thank you for the wonderful MP and LP. I'm happy that I can now read the titles of the songs :) I have 2 problems though...
1. You know how the phone allows you to change the ring styles by playing around with the buttons on the left side with the phone facing you? I am not able to do that now, is there any way to fix it?
2. I like the SOUNDS program you have included in MP 1.8 but it only plays 1 song and then it stops running. I have to go into the phone each time to load it. Is there any way to fix this? I prefer the look to the digital audio player.

1. now you do it using the shortcuts menu. have you read this post? read it to understand how the flip-close operation works.
2. you can create playlist in sounds. then play the playlist. it will play all songs in your playlist. read this post for details.

It's Mei here again. First I like to say thank you for your MP. I used the 'sound' player most. I was wondering about a couple of things...
1. is it possible for me to view the song titles with the flip closed, ie on the outer LCD?
2. is it possible for you to put in a OGG plug-in for the sound or digital audio player so I can have more songs on my TF card?

Hi i got a question about the slvr L7. I loaded on a skin that i made off a program. Once loaded i restarted the phone and it no longer boots up. It stays stuck on the welcome screen. Please help.
you might have to flash your phone. here is the flashing guide. sorry for late reply as I couldn't connect to blogger due to the "telcom tsunami". The optical fiber cables were broken by the quake at Taiwan.

I think this is a network dependent feature.
