 | How to create skins with animated wallpaper |
Tool you need:
Skinner4moto
Steps
1. Prepare an animated gif file, the size of the image must be 176x220 or smaller. Name it 573.gif;
2. download skinner4moto;
3. start skinner4moto and open your skin;
4. copy the animated gif file "573.gif" into the gifs folder, which skinner4moto created after openning the skin with this name 573.gif;
5. go to Location/Size and look for ID 572, set the values of the upper-left coordinate of your gif file in "Left" and "Up" input boxes, and set the Width and Height of the gif in "Width" & "Height" input boxes;
6. go to "Yes/No Booleans" and set the ID 599 to true to enable the ID 599;
7. save the skin.

hey yuet, great tip ..
but one thing.. if you have an image of 176x220, then you will have some trouble with the upper icons and prcider's name/date-clock in the main screen right? and also with the two soft-menus, also in the main screen..
I've seen many of these animated wallpapers.. and they usually overlap a jpg with a animated gif of less resolution.. leaving certain margins so it wont affect the rest of the content of the screen..
anyways.. it was just an observation.. cheers :)

hi.... how do i open my skin? n how do i install it after savin?
first you have to use p2k software (such as p2ktools) to download your skin files from phone to computer.
After saving, do the reverse, use the p2k software to upload the skin files from computer to phone.
hi.. i created the skin and even installed it.. the skin was working, but under msgs i have only three options i.e, create msg, browser msgs and voice mail.. wat do i do to get the remaining back.... reply fast...
hey yuet, this isnt regardin to the above post... I downloaded sum gameloft games. when i have finished playin a part of it.. the game is not able to save.. what am i supposed to be doing?
