 | Unlock/Repair PDS using GOT_MOTO without Testpoint |
It is reported that you can use a software GOT_MOTO to unlock or repair PDS without testpointing. It is really a good news, because testpoint is very troublesome. It can be used to unlock the SIM lock and remove the sticky firmwares, such as AER/E0R. Tested successfully on V360 and L7.
How to get GOT_MOTO:
Go to got_moto website (link removed, see update). Follow the instruction "!!!For getting FREE testing account you have to send an e-mail to (address removed, see update) to get your username and pass!!!" to get a 30-day-free testing account. After you get the account, go back to the same site to login.
UPDATE #1:
Unfortunately GOT_MOTO is no longer free. They will not issue free account any more. To make things worse, it is reported that they got our email addresses sold to spam ads, so be cautious! You may want to try Disassemble, testpoint & unlock/repair pds.
UPDATE #2:
It is reported that kapersky lab reported a rootkit in GOT_MOTO.exe. This virus will fill zero your hard disks and reinstall windows.

Please backup your existing firmware or data before proceeding. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISKS.
WARNING: Caution should be given to SLVR L7 with 0A.20 bootloader or R4517 firmware. Failure on such phone was reported.
Steps to unlock SIM lock:
1. Connect your phone to computer via USB, and start GOT_MOTO.
2. Select your phone model and firmware version;
3. Tick "Easy Skip TP" checkbox, click "Unlock" tab, press "Unlock Network" then follow instructions.
Steps to repair PDS and get rid of sticky firmware:
1. Connect your phone to computer via USB, and start GOT_MOTO.
2. Click "Repair" tab, then "Set Blank Mode", then "Repair PDS" and "Remove Blank Mode";
3. Flash to a full-flash MonsterPack of your choice;
4. If there's problem, repeat step 1 = Click "Repair" tab, then "Set Blank Mode", then "Repair PDS" and "Remove Blank Mode";

I have been waiting for my account for 2 days now :). Any way 1 question not related to GOT_Moto, is r4513 dcr available for v360 or no? I can't seem to find it anywhere :(
can'get that username and password!what's happening?can someone who downloaded the tool post it for download?it is freeware after all!i want to test it badly!
anonymous, the software authenticates to the GOT server, if you do not have a password and id it will not start.
tested on a V360, succesfully removed the sticky AER firmware.
BTW Yuet, very nice ABR MP.

It takes about 2 days to get the account. May be longer as I believe more & more people are requesting for the test account.
I believe Matt was using the method described in the post to get rid of the AER.
hi yuet! followed ur directions nd did exactly as you said. but after i click on remove blank mode, the phone comes back to the normal way nd the EoR firmware is still there. but if i dont put remove blank mode, the phone is recognised as blank neptune lte2 on rsdlite but neither the full flash abr firmware is getting flashed nor the original eor firmware is getting flashed. i am in a dilema. it is still R4513_G_08.B7.EOR_RB. please help me!

and then i make a monsterpack from my phone the firmware it will be sticky or not ?

I got an error when trying to unlock my v360 with GOT_MOTO. I managed to repair it with GOT_MOTO but now i have the bootloader 08.A0. My previous version was 08.D0. Can i go back to the 08.D0 bootloader ?

anonymous, 08.A0 is good, why do u want 08.D0? You may want to try the "repair pds" stpes to unlock.
i put got_moto nd chose my model nd firmware type nd clicked on 'easy skip TP'. then i go to repair nd click on set 'blank mode'. what appears on got_moto after i click on set 'blank mode' is as follows.
Establish connection to handset
Switch handset to TCMD interface
Switch handset to FLASH interface
FLASH Interface established ok
Read handset bootcore version
Bootcore version on handset: 08D0
Sending RAMDLD to handset
RAMDLD started ok in handset
Read flash backup from handset

these are precisely what appear on got_moto when i try to unlock my phone to remove the EOR firmware. after i do all this my phone comes back to the same stage as before and starts up normally. in flash mode it still says R4513_G_08.B7.EOR_RB. please help.

Rek, the instructions are on the top of this page. I just followed it to the tee, i did however have to do another blank mode, repair pds, remove blank mode after I flashed it with Yuet's 1.8 ABR MP.
Srikanth, read the procedure, after
1> blank mode
2> repair pds
3> remove blank mode
4> flash with a different MP compatible with your phone and not an EOR one.
if phone works ok you are done, if it does not start up, repeat 1-3
Srikanth, please follow what Matt said, and you should use GOT_MOTO client to flash to other MP instead of RSD Lite.

did exactly as matt said nd even flashed the ABR firmware using got_moto only. but still no use. in flash mode it still shows EOR only. after i did the repair pds nd remove blank mode, clicked on flash/flex nd chose flash handset. then chose te ABR firmware nd then what appeared on got_moto is as follows...

Srikanth, what's the bootloader of your phone? is it 09.02? can't remember if you have told me.
As matt said, if there's problem after flashing the abr, you should repeat step 1-3. That is, do the followings:
1> blank mode
2> repair pds
3> remove blank mode
4> flash to ABR MP with got_moto client
5> blank mode
6> repair pds
7> remove blank mode

Yes you can install skins in iTunes, about the radio I don't think thats possible.

As I understand GOT is no longer free and accounts are not being made right now. About using another's account, thats not possible since your account works only on your IP.

1) it should work for 08.D0 bootloader. I am not sure how to change to 08.A0.
2) it doesn't matter, as long as it is R4513 firmware. BTW, v1.8 should be ABR, v2.0 is B7R.

metallus, even you get the software, you still have to buy the account, as they authenticate it at their server and they store info about your machine, so you can't use the same account on different machines.
I'd rather do testpoint, than buying the account.

first i used to flash my phone and it worked nicely with all monster packs. after some months my phone stopped and i gave it for repairing to motorola service center. they simply changed my bootloader to 08.D0. my firm ware is R4513_G. AER. now tellme what to do. i flashed with yuet 1.9a and it worked but now its network connectivity is bad. my frns cannot call me and i get call drops most of the time. i want to get rid of the sticky firmware. tell me if i have to do testpoint or any other method can be used. i also tried yuet 2 n 3 versions but they are not working on my phone. only 1.9a is working with bad reception.
